To lead the new generation of geothermal technologies to enable a world with cleaner, more efficient and sustainable energy.
Geothermal energy has been used for thousands of years to heat homes and buildings, recent advances in our technology have made it an increasingly attractive option for generating electricity. With the increasing demand for clean and sustainable energy sources, geothermal energy has emerged as one of the most promising options for meeting our energy needs in the future.
To develop smart and clean societies by untapping the potential of geothermal energy at scale.
To develop smart and clean societies, we need a coordinated and sustained effort that involves government, industry, and academia. This includes investing in research and development, building the necessary infrastructure, and providing education and training to ensure that geothermal energy is deployed effectively and efficiently. With the right investments and partnerships in place, we can unlock the full potential of geothermal energy and create a more sustainable future for all.
The company is involved in the Western States where geothermal has the best potential. Geothermal unlike Wind and Solar is 24 Hours a Day, Seven Days a week.
Geothermal electricity generation requires water or steam at high temperatures (300° to 700°F). Geothermal power plants are generally built where geothermal reservoirs are located, within a mile or two of the earth's surface.
The United States leads the world in the amount of geothermal electricity generation. In 2021, there were geothermal power plants in seven states, which produced about 16 billion kilowatt hours (kWh) (or 16,238,000 megawatt hours), equal to about 0.4% of total U.S. utility-scale electricity generation. Utility-scale power plants have at least 1,000 kilowatts (or 1 megawatt) of electricity generation capacity, equal to 0.4% of total U.S. utility-scale electricity generation.
The design of an Enhanced Geothermal System, built around a closed circuit of horizontal and vertical wells designed to make optimal use of the advantages provided by natural fractures in the formation to maximize heat output. Continuously monitor the system performance in order to improve model performance over time to maximize value and reduce costs.
We perform high resolution, coupled thermo-hydro-mechanical modeling to evaluate reservoir production and predict its evolution over the lifetime of a prospective field.
The company has over 150+ Years Experience many of which started in the Oil and Gas Industry. Our staff has drilled over 15+ geothermal wells and over 3,250+ Oil and Gas Wells. Using the geology and knowledge of deep wells, Exceed can locate and find the better rock for geothermal facilities.
Geothermal power plants do not burn fuel to generate electricity, but they may release small amounts of sulfur dioxide and carbon dioxide. Geothermal power plants emit 97% less acid rain-causing sulfur compounds and about 99% less carbon dioxide than fossil fuel power plants of similar size. Geothermal power plants use scrubbers to remove the hydrogen sulfide naturally found in geothermal reservoirs. Most geothermal power plants inject the geothermal steam and water that they use back into the earth. This recycling helps to renew the geothermal resource and to reduce emissions from the geothermal power plants.
